13. What is the difference between baseband and broadband transmission?

Baseband transmission - In this transmission, the entire bandwidth of the cable is consumed by a single signal.

Broadband transmission - In this transmission, signals are sent on multiple frequencies, allowing multiple signals to be sent simultaneously.

14. What is anonymous FTP and why would you use it?

Anonymous FTP enables user’s access to an FTP server without having to provide any credentials to the server.

It allows to log into an FTP server with a common login (usually "ftp" or "anonymous") and any password (usually the person's e-mail address).

It enables a large number of users to access files without having to assign large numbers of login and password combinations for FTP access.

It keeps strict control over the areas an anonymous user can access.
